n Awana Leaders meeting—Wednesday, September 8th, 6:30-7:30 pm.  All those interested in serving in Awana including teens need to be at this meeting.  We will have training and discuss the year.

n The August collection for “Change Your World” was $946.18.  Thank you for your generous support.  This money was given to Beginnings Care for Life Pregnancy Center.  Our next collection is Sunday, September 26th.  We will be supporting Youth Haven Ranch, a Christian outreach dedicated to meeting the needs of disadvantaged children. This organization reaches out to thousands of less fortunate children each year with the message of God's love and hope! All children attend the Youth Haven programs free of charge, and the Ranches receive no state or federal support. Our change will help provide less fortunate youth with food, clothing, shelter, fun activities, positive role models, and more. For further questions contact Mike Tomson, Rob Cooper or visit www.youthhaven.org.

n Reminder: Church Council Meeting Tuesday, September, 14th.  Please have your agenda items and reports to the office by Thursday, September 9th.

n The benevolent fund is used to help those in need. The fund is administered by the Deacons. Contributions can be made at any time, however, there is a box at the back of the auditorium on Communion Sunday. Requests for benevolent funds can be made by contacting any of the Deacons.
