Family Ministry

Lockwood Family Ministries is for single parents or married couples (with or without children).

We're more than just a group of families - we're a community. Oxford Dictionary defines community as “a feeling of fellowship with others, as a result of sharing common attitudes, interests, and goals.” This will take shape as we unite around the shared purpose of glorifying Christ individually and as families.

We will be joining together to nurture one another as brothers and sisters in Christ—as Ephesians 4:16 says, “From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.”

Annually

While we offer many different events and programs as need or opportunity arises, we also developed some traditions here at Lockwood.

  • Family Camping—Each August, we go camping. Stay for the whole week or just a day. There's always a place for you around our campfire, where stories are shared, friendships formed, and hearts are warmed.

  • Baptism & Picnic—As summer blooms, we come together as a family to celebrate the profound moments of baptism and renewal. Join us for a day filled with laughter, delicious food, and shared joy.
