Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Our mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. We ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease.

Donate
If you would like to give to OCC, place your donation in the offering plate clearly marked "For OCC." We would like to raise enough funds to cover the cost of 500 shoeboxes. A thermometer will be displayed in the foyer showing the progress toward our goal.
Fill A Box
Empty shoeboxes will also be available for individuals, families, small groups, Sunday School classes, or anyone who wishes to fill shoeboxes on their own. Follow the instructions included in the shoeboxes and return them on one of the designated Collection Sundays.

3,019 SHOEBOXES HAVE BEEN SENT FROM LCC TO KIDS AROUND THE WORLD!
We pray that God will soften the hearts of the 3,019 children who have received our shoebox gifts over the past few years and that their hearts will be open to the Gospel of Jesus Christ as they hear the “Good News” that God has provided the way for them to be freed from the penalty of sin. We pray that families and entire communities will be transformed as God’s love is shared through our simple shoebox gifts. Is there anything more important than sharing the hope of Christ?
